Grape Agate is a popular trade name for grape-like clusters of purple chalcedony (microcrystalline quartz) found primarily in Indonesia. I've sourced these from the original miner - straight to my door. These are ethically sourced and mined. They will need a clean and polish when you receive them, if you prefer! It's known for its distinctive small, spherical shapes and lavender to deep purple colors, sometimes with green or gray inclusions. It forms in volcanic cavities over millions of years and is valued by collectors for its unique appearance. You will receive a random selection of one of these stones on purchase.
